Last week, I watched a mafia movie called "Carlito's Way" about an ex-Cuban mafia named Carlito (Al Pacino, one of my favourite actor). It was an interesting movie about the life of Carlito after he was released from the prison with the help of his close friend, and lawyer, Dave Kleinfeld (Sean Penn). Carlito tried to "escape" from the mafia's world but he couldn't. In confusion, he searched for his long lost lover, Gail (Penelope Ann Miller), who trusted and cared for him. Because of that, he was determined to collect money and ran away from the mafia's world together with Gail. However, Kleinfield and Pachanga (Luis Gazman) betrayals have destroyed his dream to live peacefully with Gail. In the end, he was shot by Benny Blanco; his admirer and enemy.
The story has a sad ending, but seriously, it's worth watching. I really like the ending theme "You Are So Beautiful" by John Cocker or Billy Preston. It's a great song.
